It’s not that I don’t love my men; I’m surrounded by them even the dog is male! The last few years have been filled with sweaty gyms, dusty ball fields and endless fart jokes, but it was time to get back to some of the things I love – exotic beauty, international travel and gorgeous fashions.
Before I had my son, I spent a thrilling 10+ years working in event planning, marketing and brand management for the Miss Universe Organization where I traveled the world and worked with everyone from heads of state and corporate executives to celebrities and charity volunteers.
The Miss Universe Organization is the producer of three live, primetime, international telecasts, the Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageants, broadcasting to 600+ million viewers worldwide. As the Manager of Sales and Marketing, I worked with corporate sponsors such as American Airlines, Minolta Corporation, Cobalt Boats, Catalina Swimwear, Ford Motor Company, Sherri Hill Gowns and various P+G brands. I also spent several years as the Director of License Operations, managing licensees in each state and over 96 countries worldwide including Venevision (Venezuela), The Times of India, The Bonnier Group (Sweden), Unimundo (Costa Rica), Laboratorios de Cosmeticos (Colombia), The Korea Times, Laisha Magazine (Israel), TVB (Hong Kong), and the Curaçao Tourism Development Bureau.

My career with Miss Universe culminated in the position as the Director of Marketing and Personal Appearances, managing the careers and schedules of the reigning Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, including contract negotiations, publicity, travel, housing and wardrobe. Notable partners and projects include Special Olympics International, Pro Bowl, PGA, Orange Bowl, People Magazine, “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee,” “Good Day LA,” Chopard (Switzerland), LG Manufacturing (Korea), Coca-Cola (Mexico), World Travel Expo, Rain Forest Gala, and the Hawai’i Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Following my career at Miss Universe, I became an international marketing consultant and had the opportunity to work with Ford Models Supermodel of the World contest in Lisbon, Portugal and the Star Group’s Leading Entrepreneurial Women of the World Awards held in Bermuda.
It’s been a wild ride and I look forward to helping other women make their dreams come true. . . and look beautiful doing it!
